It makes us read and complete this book sooner。 The experience, the words, the lines beneath them。 It was striking。 "You're not living if you're not regretting"I mean isn't this the part of life。 We all regret a lot of things we did but aren't those the stories we are definitely going to narrate to children in future。 Everything is an adventure。 Everything is worth a risk。 This whole book with beauty and butterflies and flowers and gardens。 I like it and to the romantic reader, you should really be trying it。 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 I enjoyed reading the book, it was easy enough to do and nothing was overly complicated。 It was nice and simple。 I didn’t like the main Characters Maddy or Olly at all during the start of the book but as it progresses they definitely grew on me。 The ending was me favourite bit, I like the twist of Maddy not actually being sick。 It was simple but good and that is probably the best way to describe this book, simple but good。So I think it is really a solid 3。75 but I’ll round it up for this。

3。75 I enjoyed the audiobook while listening but I did not really enjoy the characters。 Madeline's development felt as back and forth as her emotions and the big change of events was not that surprising。 Would recommend for some looking for a quick/easy YA novel。 3。75 I enjoyed the audiobook while listening but I did not really enjoy the characters。 Madeline's development felt as back and forth as her emotions and the big change of events was not that surprising。 Would recommend for some looking for a quick/easy YA novel。 。。。more

Considering Twilight ruined straight romance for me, this book was quite good。 I love Nicola Yoon's writing style; it is very easy and enjoyable to read。 I also appreciate the artsy graphic things thrown in every once in a while; they're a good change-up from the typical words-words-and-more-words novels。 I will admit that the main characters (specifically Maddy, her mom, and Olly) were a bit cliché, but I enjoyed them nonetheless。 They were believable, relatable to some extent, and, at the begi Considering Twilight ruined straight romance for me, this book was quite good。 I love Nicola Yoon's writing style; it is very easy and enjoyable to read。 I also appreciate the artsy graphic things thrown in every once in a while; they're a good change-up from the typical words-words-and-more-words novels。 I will admit that the main characters (specifically Maddy, her mom, and Olly) were a bit cliché, but I enjoyed them nonetheless。 They were believable, relatable to some extent, and, at the beginning, I actually liked the direction Maddy and Olly's relationship was going at first。There is one crucial thing that stopped this from earning a five-star review: (view spoiler)[Why did the trip to Hawaii have to include what it did? This is supposed to be a romance book, not some sort of disgusting erotic thing。 It didn't describe anything too vividly, but as a very asexual person, I am quite frankly disgusted that this sort of thing is the climax, so to speak, of nearly every romance book I've ever read。 When I read a romance book, I want a romance book。 I don't want other things thrown in。 Sex is not all there is to life。 (hide spoiler)] 。。。more

This is an amazing book with a great story line。 The whole book really flows and doesn't feel chopped up into different parts。 It does take a little while to get into considering that the plot twist or climax is towards the end, nut read through the whole book because it is a great story told in a very great way。 This is an amazing book with a great story line。 The whole book really flows and doesn't feel chopped up into different parts。 It does take a little while to get into considering that the plot twist or climax is towards the end, nut read through the whole book because it is a great story told in a very great way。 。。。more

Secondary: pink (romance)[Personally disliked this book immensely。 It's another one of those books where teenagers are written to speak in a way that teenagers never would。 The love interest was manic-pixie-dream-boy-esque but annoyed me throughout。]Still 3 stars though because a lot of my beef with the book was personal preference and actually it was pretty readable。 Also had some good representation。 Think y9 / y10 girls would enjoy and they're likely to have heard of the film。 Secondary: pink (romance)[Personally disliked this book immensely。 It's another one of those books where teenagers are written to speak in a way that teenagers never would。 The love interest was manic-pixie-dream-boy-esque but annoyed me throughout。]Still 3 stars though because a lot of my beef with the book was personal preference and actually it was pretty readable。 Also had some good representation。 Think y9 / y10 girls would enjoy and they're likely to have heard of the film。 。。。more

I thought there was some lovely writing and I liked the movement between text and drawings。 But I found myself not quite able to suspend disbelief and disappear into it。

This one didn't work for me。 I saw where it was going and hoped I was wrong, but nope。 Even before (view spoiler)[the twist that her mom was lying, which was unfortunately very obvious (hide spoiler)] I struggled with this。。。it just didn't feel as authentic or well-developed as The Sun is Also a Star, which I read first。 This one didn't work for me。 I saw where it was going and hoped I was wrong, but nope。 Even before (view spoiler)[the twist that her mom was lying, which was unfortunately very obvious (hide spoiler)] I struggled with this。。。it just didn't feel as authentic or well-developed as The Sun is Also a Star, which I read first。 。。。more
